- Kim Green Bush (KGB)
- Guyot or Upright Fruiting Offshoots (UFO)

Our History
Geoplant Vivai Srl Società Agricola is the natural continuation of the Danesi family’s original company, Geoplant Vivai soc. semplice, founded almost 40 years ago. The company now plays a leading and dynamic role in European nurseries market, with its plants and varieties present in over 25 countries. We produce bare root cherry trees and strive to provide our customers with healthy products of the highest quality. Our technicians are constantly up to date with the latest technical innovations and varieties; as well as providing the plants themselves, we also offer high-level advice and technical support.
This unique approach has set Geoplant apart since 1982, and has made us one of the leading companies not only in the Italian market but now the European market too. When you purchase our plants, you are also buying a part of our history.
Our Plants
We grow cherry trees in nurseries that are especially well suited to the species, in order to obtain healthy plants, structured with a good root system. Once uprooted, they are selected according to their shape characteristics (height, stem size and number of branches). The rootstocks that we use most frequently are from the GiSelA(r) series, such as GiSelA(r)5 Gi 1482* or GiSelA(r)6 Gi 1481*, as well as some certain rootstocks such as Colt and Krimsk5.
